The bar is central to the social side of the club, and is managed by Marie Anderson who is assisted by Bruce Spittles. They can be contacted on 01256 331646 or e-mailed at the-bar@btconnect.com The following bar opening times are:
MON – THURS 12.00 – 3.00 5.00 – 11.00
FRI – SAT 12.00 – 11.00  
SUN 12.00 – 10.30  
At least two guest beers a week are currently offered. If there are any beers that you have heard of and would like to try, please contact either Marie or Bruce, and they will do theie best to include them.
Throughout the year the Club holds a variety of social activities for Members.
Each year Basingstoke and North Hants Cricket club hire a 300 seater marquee for their annual Summer Ball.

This year, we have decided to make the marquee available to hire for weddings, parties and corporate functions, at a cost starting from £750 + VAT per day. A basic package would include:
  • Marquee with carpet and chandeliers
  • Staffed bar facilities
  • Dance Floor
  • Bar licence extension, if required
Other packages could include:
  • Use of ground (weekdays and Sunday only)
  • Catering
  • full menu/silver service
  • Barbeques
  • Buffets

CONFERENCE/FUNCTION ROOM

IN A BEAUTIFUL, CONVENIENTLY PLACED LOCATION

Basingstoke Sports and Social Club are now able to offer you the use of their newly opened function room, adjoining the Club house in the beautiful surroundings of May’s Bounty cricket ground – an idyllic picture of English country life on a warm summers day.

The ground is conveniently situated within walking distance of Basingstoke town centre, and it’s station, is also easily reached from both the M3 and M4 and has adequate parking facilities.

The room will comfortably seat between twenty-four and thirty people for conferences. (Overhead projector, screen and whiteboard being provided). It is also ideal for parties, club nights and other social events.

The Club has a licensed bar.

All reasonable requests can be catered for.
